THE INDIAN EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY (IES)
The Indian Educational Society (IES) is a registered non-governmental and non-profit organization established on 7 December 2000 with a vision to create a just, educated, healthy, and empowered society. Registered with NITI Aayog (NGO DARPAN) and certified under ISO standards, the organization has been serving communities across Punjab for more than two decades through a wide range of educational, social welfare, healthcare, women empowerment, and community development initiatives.
Since its inception, IES has remained committed to addressing the root causes of poverty, illiteracy, social inequality, unemployment, and poor access to healthcare. The organization believes that sustainable development can only be achieved when every individual is provided with equal opportunities, access to education, adequate healthcare, livelihood support, and a life of dignity.
Our Core Values
At IES, we believe that education goes beyond classrooms. Through visits to Baba sahib dass old age home, students develop empathy, compassion, and respect for senior citizens while learning the values of kindness, social responsibility, and community service.
IES organized an educational visit to Baba Sahib Dass Old Age Home, Gharachon, where school students spent quality time with senior citizens, fostering compassion, empathy, and respect for the elderly.
IES is committed to empowering women through skill development and sustainable livelihood initiatives. As part of this mission, we organize Cutting and Tailoring Training Camps to equip women with practical vocational skills that enhance their self-confidence and financial independence.
